Aquaxyl®

Aquaxyl® is a moisturizer with an innovative approach. Most hydrating agents try to bind moisture in the upper skin layers. Not so Aquaxyl®: it penetrates into the deeper skin layers and stimulates the formation of aquaporins there. These are special membrane proteins that create "water channels" in and out of the cell. This allows water, but also glycerine, to pass through the cell membrane unhindered.

The water circulation in the skin improves with the number of aquaporins. Water can thus reach the surface faster or from there to the lower levels of the skin. This not only improves the transport of water-soluble substances but also provides a moist environment without the body's own enzymes not being able to do their job. In this way Aquaxyl® stimulates the formation of hyaluronic acid or ceramides, for example.

By promoting the growth of aquaporins, Aquaxyl® not only has a unique but also a lasting effect. It provides a deep hydration of the skin even days and weeks after a longer application.
