Adenosine

On the one hand, adenosine is the essential component of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the universal energy source of the human body. On the other hand adenosine is part of a so-called neuromodulator. This blocks the release of specific neurotransmitters such as dopamine or noradrenaline. Adenosine thus relaxes and dilates the blood vessels, which immediately lowers blood pressure. This effect ensures good blood circulation in the skin and thus a fresh appearance of face and hands.
