Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is actually not an oil, but a special wax. It can therefore be stored for a quarter of a century without becoming rancid. As its melting point is only 7°C, it makes jojoba oil the only natural liquid wax.

The unique viscosity of jojoba oil ensures a smooth but not "greasy" film on the skin. This binds the sebum and thus regulates sebum production without clogging the pores. And like Shea Butter, jojoba oil has a natural sun protection factor of between 3 and 4. Jojoba oil is therefore able to shield against UV radiation, which causes the skin to age more quickly, not only in blazing sunlight.

Besides the caring wax, the jojoba oil scores with a high content of provitamin A and vitamin E. Thanks to them, the oil stops the skin from cell growth and protects it from free radicals (see antioxidants).

By the way: jojoba oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the jojoba bush.
