GLYCERIN

Glycerin is a sugar alcohol that can be produced synthetically or obtained from natural sources, for example from sugar cane or corn syrup sugar. The synthetic form is chemically identical to the naturally occurring glycerin. Scientific studies suggest that the body handles synthetically produced glycerin in the same way as natural glycerin. After water, glycerin is one of the most commonly used cosmetic ingredients.

In cosmetic products, glycerin is important for the moisture balance, among other things: it protects the skin from dehydration and ensures a relaxed and vital skin feeling.
