PERSEA GRATISSIMA (AVOCADO) OIL

Avocado oil (Persea gratissima) is, along with olive oil, one of the few vegetable oils that is pressed from the flesh of the fruit rather than the seed. In addition to a good ratio of the various fatty acids, the oil contains vitamins E, D and K as well as the minerals potassium and magnesium. The oil is well absorbed by the skin and penetrates to the subcutaneous tissue where it prevents inflammatory stimuli.
